My Strudels: Originating from the classic Central European strudels one will find in Vienna, Prague and Munich, I use my family strudel recipe. Unlike other strudels that are mostly made of thick dough, pie-like jam filling, and are decorated with lots of crystal sugar, my strudels are created with super thin pastry. That gives way to the rich flavors of locally sourced fresh tart apples accented with raisins and nuts in every bite. 
Low in gluten and only sweetened with pure honey, my strudels are ideal for healthy after school snacks, light dessert and even as a fruit and nuts loaded breakfast for the whole family. My Apple Strudels are always fresh and only made to order. 
About me: Born in the Czech Republic, I grew up with my grandma's ("Babi's") strudel made weekly and year round. Now, I live here in Canada, I wish to share this great tradition with you. My Babi is now 100 years young! and baked these strudels till only few years ago for every of our family gatherings.
It was a joy to hear my two little sons asking their Great-great-Babi to make a second batch just for them!

I am a big believer in simple goodness of home made and local produce.  And because of that, I am passionate about supporting local business, Made-in-Canada produce, and purchasing from Ontario growers, honey makers, and egg farmers year round and when ever possible. All of the ingredients for my apple strudels are therefore picked with love, care and always fresh.
